Dr. Clemens Esche is a board eligible dermatologist. He obtained
his medical degree from the University of Cologne, Germany, prior to completing
a dermatology residency at the University of Dusseldorf, Germany, in 1996. Dr.
Esche held research positions at the University of Pittsburgh until 2000 and was
Assistant Professor at the Mayo Clinic and the
Johns Hopkins University until 2004. He
completed his US dermatology training at Johns Hopkins in 2008. Dr. Esche
subsequently worked at Graves-Gilbert Clinic in Bowling Green prior to founding
Kentucky Dermatology Clinic in Glasgow in 2010.
Dr. Esche's main research interest is in skin cancer. He has received more than
10 academic awards for his work and has authored more than 70 scientific
publications. Dr. Esche has been featured in
Marquis Who's Who in Medicine and Healthcare and in Marquis Who's Who in
America. He is married to Dr. Imola Esche Ph.D., who is an attorney and
political scientist.
Vickie
Counts, Practice Manager & Director of Cosmetic,
has been working with
Dr. Esche since 2009. She was
employed with the Graves-Gilbert Clinic in Bowling Green from 1979 to 2010. Ms. Counts began her career in the
Internal Medicine department where she worked for 29 years before joining the
Dermatology department in 2007. She
brings a love of people and a desire to care for others to her job. Ms. Counts has been married to her
husband, Gary, since 1980. They have one son, Seth. Ms. Counts enjoys traveling, reading
and spending time with her friends and family.
Donna
Gray-Glenn, Director of Surgery, has been working with Dr.
Esche since 2009. She is a 1996 and 1997 graduate of Western Kentucky University
with an Associate of Arts degree in Office Systems Technologies Administrative
Support and an Associate of Arts degree in Computer Information Systems. In
addition, Ms. Gray-Glenn graduated from Bowling Green Technical College in 2007
with an Associate of Science degree in Surgical Technology. She completed her
surgical clinical hours at TJ Samson Hospital in Glasgow and at the Medical
Center of Bowling Green. Ms. Gray-Glenn is married, and has a daughter, Haley, a
son, Draven and a stepson, Wayne.
Leslie
Renfrow, Receptionist and Medical Assistant, has been caring
for patients since 2005. She has worked in family practice and at Greenview ER
in Bowling Green prior to coming to dermatology in March 2009. Ms. Renfrow holds
an Associate in Science degree. She is married and has one daughter, Gabriella,
on whom all her spare time is spent.
Anita May, Receptionist (PRN) has spent the past 39 years managing computer operations in the IBM business computers arena. For the last 19 years, she has worked as an independent contractor, providing consulting, custom programming, and computer support on IBM business systems. Ms. May is married to James May. They have three children and three grandchildren. Ms. May enjoys time with her family, photography, playing the guitar, boating, fishing, kayaking, and being outdoors. She is also a certified Pet Therapist, and is actively involved in pet therapy at T.J. Samson Hospital in Glasgow.
Shelia Gray, Medical Coder and Biller, has worked with patients since 1995. In the past 8 years prior to joining the Kentucky Dermatology Clinic in 2010, she has worked in family practice in the Glasgow area, where she has cared for patients, coded and billed. She is married, has one child, and spends all her free time with her family.
